Sognefjord tour program

This program can be taken either as a pre-tour or post-tour with the Norwegian Coastal Voyage. Travel by train between Oslo and Myrdal. In Myrdal, board the Flam Railway and ride through incredible scenery of mountains and waterfalls to Flam. Here, embark on a 1 1/2-hour boat ride through the best of fjord country to Balestrand. At Balestrand, dinner will be served at the famous Kvikne's Hotel, where you'll also spend the night. After breakfast the next day, board the ferry to Bergen and enjoy the fantastic Sognefjord landscape before disembarking four hours later in Bergen.

- Ferry between Flam and Balestrand
- One hotel night at Kvikne's Hotel
- One dinner and one breakfast at Kvikne's Hotel

Hardangerfjord tour program

Travel by train from Oslo or Bergen and disembark in Voss. In Voss, a motorcoach will meet you at the train station and take you to Ulvik, "the Pearl of Hardanger." During the 30-minute drive, experience the breathtaking scenery of this part of the Hordaland region. At Ulvik, spend the night at the Rica Brakanes Hotel, located on the majestic Hardangerfjord. Here you can explore the surroundings on foot, by boat, or bike, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. After breakfast the next day, you'll be driven to the train station in Voss by motorcoach.

2004 price of US$295 per person includes:
- Train between Oslo or Bergen and Voss
- Transfers between Voss and Ulvik by motorcoach
- One night at Rica Brakanes Hotel, including breakfast
